• अगर आप केवल भविष्य के बारे में सोचते रहेंगे तो वर्तमान भी खो देंगे.

If you only keep thinking about the future, you will lose the present.

• जब आप अपने अन्दर से अहंकार मिटा देंगे तभी आपको वास्तविक शांति प्राप्त होगी.

You will get real peace when you erase the ego from within yourself.

• मैं उन लोगों को पसंद करता हूँ जो सच्चाई के मार्ग पर चलते हैं.

I like those people who walk on the path of truth.

• ईश्वर ने हमें जन्म दिया है ताकि हम संसार में अच्छे काम करें और बुराई को दूर करें.

God has given birth to us so that we do good work in the world and remove the evil.

• इंसान से प्रेम ही ईश्वर की सच्ची भक्ति है.

Love is the true worship of God.

• अच्छे कर्मों से ही आप ईश्वर को पा सकते हैं. अच्छे कर्म करने वालों की ही ईश्वर मदद करता है.

You can find God only through good deeds.  God helps those who do good deeds.

• जो कोई भी मुझे भगवान कहे, वो नरक में चला जाए.

Whoever tells me God, he will go to hell.

• मुझे उसका सेवक मानो. और इसमें कोई संदेह मत रखो.

Treat me as his servant.  And do not doubt in it.

• जब बाकी सभी तरीके विफल हो जाएं, तो हाथ में तलवार उठाना सही है.

When all other methods fail, it is right to raise the sword in hand.

• असहायों पर अपनी तलवार चलाने के लिए उतावले मत हो, अन्यथा विधाता तुम्हारा खून बहायेगा.

Do not be afraid to run your sword on the helpless, otherwise the creator will shed your blood.

• उसने हेमशा अपने अनुयायियों को आराम दिया है और हर समय उनकी मदद की है.

He has rested his followers and helped him all the time.

• हे ईश्वर मुझे आशीर्वाद दें कि मैं कभी अच्छे कर्म करने में संकोच ना करूँ.

O God bless me that I never hesitate to do good deeds.

• ये मित्र संगठित हैं, और फिर से अलग नहीं होंगे, उन्हें स्वयम सृजनकर्ता भगवान् ने एक किया है.

These friends are organized, and will not be separated again, they themselves have been created by the Creator God.

• सबसे महान सुख और स्थायी शांति तब प्राप्त होती है जब कोई अपने भीतर से स्वार्थ को समाप्त कर देता है.

The greatest happiness and lasting peace is achieved when someone ends selfishness from within.

• दिन-रात, हमेशा ईश्वर का ध्यान करो.

Day and night, always meditate on God.

• हर कोई उस सच्चे गुरु की जयजयकार और प्रशंसा करे जो हमें भगवान की भक्ति के खजाने तक ले गया है.

Everyone should praise and admire the true master who has taken us to the treasure of devotion to God.

• भगवान के नाम के अलावा कोई मित्र नहीं है, भगवान के विनम्र सेवक इसी का चिंतन करते और इसी को देखते हैं.

There is no friend other than God's name, the humble servants of God contemplate this and see this.

• आपने ब्रह्माण्ड की रचना की, आप ही सुख-दुःख के दाता हैं.

You created the universe, you are the only giver of happiness and sorrow.

• आप स्वयं ही स्वयं हैं, अपने स्वयं ही सृष्टि का सृजन किया है.

You are yourself, created your own creation.

• सत्कर्म कर्म के द्वारा, तुम्हे सच्चा गुरु मिलेगा, और उसके बाद प्रिय भगवान मिलेंगे, उनकी मधुर इच्छा से, तुम्हे उनकी दया का आशीर्वाद प्राप्त होगा.

By virtue of deeds, you will find a true master, and after that you will find dear God, with his sweet desire, you will receive the blessing of His mercy.

• सच्चे गुरु की सेवा करते हए स्थायी शांति प्राप्त होगी, जन्म और मृत्यु के कष्ट मिट जायेंगे.

The lasting peace will be achieved while serving the true master, the sufferings of birth and death will disappear.

• अज्ञानी व्यक्ति पूरी तरह से अंधा है, वह मूल्यवान चीजों की कद्र नहीं करता है.

The ignorant person is completely blind, he does not value valuable things.

• ईश्वर स्वयं क्षमाकर्ता है.

God Himself is the forgiving.

• बिना गुरु के किसी को भगवान का नाम नहीं मिला है.

Nobody has got the name of God without any guru.

• बिना नाम के कोई शांति नहीं है.

There is no peace with no name.

• मृत्यु के शहर में, उन्हें बाँध कर पीटा जाता है, और कोई उनकी प्रार्थना नहीं सुनता है.

In the city of death, they are beaten and tied, and no one listens to their prayers.

• जो लोग भगवान के नाम पर ध्यान करते हैं, वे सभी शांति और सुख प्राप्त करते हैं.

Those who meditate on God's name, they all receive peace and happiness.

• मैं उस गुरु के लिए न्योछावर हूँ, जो भगवान के उपदेशों का पाठ करता है.

I look forward to the teacher who recites the teachings of God.

• सेवक नानक भगवान के दास हैं, अपनी कृपा से, भगवान उनका सम्मान सुरक्षित रखते हैं.

Servants are servants of God, by their grace, God protects their respect.

• स्वार्थ ही अशुभ संकल्पों को जन्म देता है.

Selfishness gives rise to inauspicious resolutions.
