• Life is very small and very beautiful, not so serious about work.  Enjoy Life.

ज़िंदगी बहुत छोटी है और बहुत खूबसूरत, काम के प्रति इतने गंभीर ना रहें। जीवन का आनंद लें।

• We have never lacked money.  We have less chance of people dreaming.

हमारे पास कभी भी पैसों की कमी नहीं होती। हमारे पास कमी होती है तो सपने देखने वाले लोगों की।

• If you do not give up, then you have another chance.  Accepting defeat is the biggest failure.

अगर आप हार नहीं मानते है तो आपके पास एक और मौका होता है। हार मान लेना सबसे बड़ी असफलता है।

• Patience is most important for success.

सफलता के लिए धैर्य का होना सबसे ज्यादा जरुरी है।

• Do not compete at any cost, but compete on service and innovation.

कभी भी कीमत पर कॉम्पिटिशन मत करो, बल्कि सर्विस और इनोवेशन पर कॉम्पिटिशन करो।

• If you have never tried anything then how will you know that there is a chance?

यदि तुमने कभी कोई कोशिश ही नहीं की तो तुमको कैसे पता चलेगा कि कोई मौका है?

• I am what I am. Then I am happy and get good results too.

मैं जो हूँ वो रहता हूँ तब मैं खुश रहता हूँ और अच्छे परिणाम भी मिलते है।

• You want the right people with you, not the best people.

आपको अपने साथ सही लोग चाहिए होते हैं सबसे अच्छे लोग नहीं।

• Never give up.  Today is difficult tomorrow, but it will get worse.

कभी हार मत मानो। आज कठिन है कल और भी बदतर होगा लेकिन परसों धुप खिलेगी।

अपने बुरे दिनों में आपको बहुत अधिक फोकस्ड होना होता है और अपने दिमाग पर भरोसा करना होता है ना कि अपनी ताकत पर।

• You should learn from your Opposition but never mimic it.  If you copy, then understand the losers.

आपको अपने विपक्षी से सीखना चाहिए लेकिन कभी भी नक़ल न करें। अगर नक़ल किया तो समझो हारे।

धैर्य का आपमें होना सबसे ज्यादा ज़रूरी है।

• The world will not remember what you said.  But of course he will not forget what you did.

दुनिया यह याद नहीं रखेगी की आपने क्या कहा। लेकिन निश्चित तौर पे वो यह नहीं भूल पायेगी की आपने क्या किया।

• When KFC came to China, 24 people went for jobs, 23 were successful, I failed.

जब KFC चीन आई, 24 लोग जॉब के लिए गए, 23 सफल रहे, मैं असफल रहा।

• Quick or late, you will regret that you spent your entire time working.

जल्दी या देर से, आपको इस बात का अफ़सोस होगा आपने अपना पूरा समय काम में व्यतीत कर दिया।

• Learn from the mistakes of others instead of learning from their mistakes.  Most people who fail are similar due to their failure, but many reasons for success can be found.

दूसरों की सफलता से सीखने की बजाय उनकी गलतियों से सीखो। ज्यादातर लोग जो असफल होते हैं उनकी असफलता के कारण समान होते हैं जबकि सफलता की कई वजहें मिल सकती है।

• If Alibaba is not able to become Microsoft or Wal-Mart, then I will be sorry for the rest of my life.

यदि अलीबाबा माइक्रोसॉफ्ट या वाल-मार्ट नहीं बन पाता है तो मुझे बाकी की ज़िन्दगी इसका अफ़सोस रहेगा।

• I want people to know what democracy means.

मैं यह चाहता हूँ लोग जानें कि लोकतंत्र का मतलब क्या होता है।

• Alibaba is a system that helps small businesses to flourish.

अलीबाबा एक ऐसा सिस्टम है जो छोटे व्यवसायों को फलने-फूलने में मदद करता है।

• I do not want people's pockets deep in China but fewer brains.

मैं नही चाहता कि चीन में लोगों की जेबें गहरी हों लेकिन दिमाग कम।

• I like playing cards because I have learned a lot of business philosophy through playing poker.

मुझे ताश खेलना पसंद है क्योंकि पोकर खेलकर मैंने बहुत सी बिज़नेस फिलोसोफी सीखी है।

• My job is to help more and more people find work.

मेरा काम है अधिक से अधिक लोगों को काम मिलने में मदद करना।

मैं ऑन-लाइन शॉपिंग नहीं करता हूँ लेकिन मेरी पत्नी हर एक चीज घर से खरीदती है।

• When you have a million dollars you are a lucky person but when you have $ 10 million you are in crisis.

जब आपके पास एक मिलियन डॉलर है तो आप एक भाग्यशाली व्यक्ति हैं पर जब आपके पास 10 मिलियन डॉलर हैं तो आप पर संकट है।

• If the customer loves you then the government will have to love you.

• You never know what the things you are doing are so important for the society.

• You have to make consumers smart.  No e-commerce institution sells a product at a lower price, but it sells at marketable prices at costly prices.

आपको उपभोक्ताओं को स्मार्ट बनाना होगा। कोई भी ई-कॉमर्स संस्था किसी प्रोडक्ट को कम दाम पर नहीं बेचती, बल्कि बाजारू दुकाने उसे महंगे दामों पर बेचती है।

• Making money today is very easy.  But while being responsible and earning money constantly, it is very difficult to earn money.

आज पैसा कमाना बहुत आसान है। लेकिन जिम्मेदार रहते हुए और दुनिया को सुधारते हुए लगातार पैसा कमाना बहुत मुश्किल है।

• We appreciate the past yesterday but we look forward to a better tomorrow.

हम बीते हुए कल की सराहना करते हैं परन्तु हम एक बेहतर आने वाले कल की ओर देखते हैं।

• There is no Jack Ma and no Alibaba without internet.

बिना इंटरनेट के कोई जैक मा और कोई अलीबाबा नहीं होता।

• There is a need for a fool to lead the wise people.  If all the scientists are in the team, then the best will be to give leadership to a farmer because he has a different way of thinking.  When your vision is different then winning becomes easier.

बुद्धिमान लोगों का नेतृत्व करने के लिए एक मूर्ख की जरूरत होती है। अगर टीम में सभी वैज्ञानिक हों तो सबसे अच्छा यह होगा कि किसी किसान को नेतृत्व दे क्योंकि उसके सोचने का तरीका अलग है। जब आपका नजरिया अलग हो तो जीतना आसान हो जाता है।

• When we have money, then we start making mistakes.

जब हमारे पास पैसे होते हैं तब हम गलतियाँ करना शुरू कर देते हैं।

• Never 20 years of program should end in 2 years.

कभी भी 20 साल का कार्यक्रम 2 साल में ख़त्म नहीं करना चाहिए।

• If we are a good team and know what we have to do then every one of us can beat ten of them.

अगर हम एक अच्छी टीम हैं और यह जानते हैं कि हमें क्या करना है तो हम में से हर एक उनमे से दस को हरा सकता है।

• There should be more patience and perseverance within a leader and he should bear that which his staff can not do.

किसी लीडर के अन्दर अधिक धैर्य और दृढ़ता होनी चाहिए और उसे वो सहन करना चाहिए जो उसके कर्मचारी नहीं कर सकते।

• Before being admitted to the University of Hangzhou Teachers University, which was considered the worst university of my city, I had failed twice in the university's exam.

मेरे शहर की जो सबसे खराब यूनिवर्सिटी मानी जाती थी- हांग्जो शिक्षक विश्वविद्यालय, उसमे स्वीकार किये जाने से पहले मैं दो बार यूनिवर्सिटी के एग्जाम में फेल हो चुका था।

• In the bad days of Alibaba, I learned that you have to put value, innovation and vision into the team.  Also, if you do not give up, then you have another chance.  And when you are younger, you have to be very focused and trust your mind, not on your strengths.

अलीबाबा के बुरे दिनों में मैंने सीखा कि आपको टीम में वैल्यू, इनोवेशन और विज़न डालना होता है। ये भी कि अगर आप हार नहीं मानते तो आपके पास एक और मौका होता है। और जब आप छोटे होते हैं, आपको बहुत अधिक फोकस्ड होना होता है और अपने दिमाग पर भरोसा करना होता है ना कि अपनी ताकत पर।

• I try to keep myself happy, because I know that if I am not happy, my colleagues are not happy and my shareholders are not happy and my clients are not happy.

मैं खुद को खुश रखने का प्रयास करता हूँ, क्योंकि मैं जानता हूँ कि अगर मैं खुश नहीं हूँ, मेरे सहयोगी खुश नहीं हैं और मेरे शेयरधारक खुश नहीं हैं और मेरे ग्राहक खुश नहीं हैं।

• I do not want to be liked.  I want to be honored.

मैं पसंद नही किया जाना चाहता। मैं सम्मानित किया जाना चाहता हूँ।

• Before leaving China, I was told that China is the world's richest and happier country.  So when I reached Australia, I thought, 'Oh God, everything is different from what I was told.' Since then, I started thinking differently.

चाइना से निकलने से पहले, मुझे बताया गया था कि चाइना दुनिया का सबसे समृद्ध और खुशहाल देश है। इसलिए जब मैं ऑस्ट्रेलिया पहुंचा, मैंने सोचा, ‘ हे भगवान्, मुझे जो कुछ बताया गया था उससे सबकुछ अलग है।’ तबसे, मैंने अलग ढंग से सोचना शुरू कर दिया।

• It does not matter how hard the chase is, you should always have the dream you had seen on the first day.  He will keep you motivated and (with some weak thinking) will save you.

इससे फर्क नहीं पड़ता कि पीछा कितना कठिन है, आपके पास हमेशा वो सपना होना चाहिए जो आपने पहले दिन देखा था। वो आपको प्रेरित रखेगा और (किसी कमजोर विचार से ) आपको बचाएगा।

• You never know what the things you are doing are so meaningful for the society.

आप कभी नहीं जानते कि आप जो चीजें कर रहे हैं वो समाज के लिए कितनी अर्थपूर्ण हैं।

• It does not matter that I failed.  At least I passed the concept to others.  If I am not successful, someone else will succeed.

इससे फर्क नहीं पड़ता कि मैं फेल हो गया। कम से कम मैंने कांसेप्ट को दूसरों को पास किया। यदि मैं सफल नही भी होता हूँ, कोई और सफल हो जायेगा।
