Dear friends रतन नवल टाटा (जन्म 28 दिसंबर 1937) एक भारतीय उद्योगपति, परोपकारी, और टाटा संस के पूर्व अध्यक्ष हैं।  वह 1990 से 2012 तक टाटा ग्रुप के चेयरमैन और फिर अक्टूबर 2016 से फरवरी 2017 Tata से अंतरिम चेयरमैन के रूप में भी कार्यरत रहे और अपने धर्मार्थ ट्रस्टों का नेतृत्व करते रहे। वह भारत के दो सर्वोच्च नागरिक पुरस्कार, पद्म विभूषण (2008) और पद्म भूषण (2000) के प्राप्तकर्ता हैं। वह अपनी व्यावसायिक नैतिकता और परोपकार के लिए अच्छी तरह से जाने जाते है। आइये जानते हैं आज उनके प्रेरणादायक विचार...

• मै सही निर्णय ले रहा हु या नही, इसमें मै विश्वास नही रखता, लेकिन जो निर्णय लेता हु उसे सही साबित करने में विश्वास रखता हु.

I do not believe in making the right decision or not, but I believe in proving the decision that I make right.

• सभी जानते है की सभी के एक जैसी योग्यता नही होती है लेकिन हमारे पास अपनी प्रतिभा को विकसित करने के समान अवसर होते है.

Everyone knows that not everyone has the same abilities, but we have equal opportunities to develop our talent.

• अगर आप तेजी से चलना चाहते है तो अकेले चलिए लेकिन यदि आप सफलता के दूर तक जाना चाहते है तो सबके साथ मिलकर चलिए.

If you want to walk fast then walk alone but if you want to go far to success, then go together with everyone.

• जीवन में यदि सुख दुःख यानी उतार चढाव न हो तो जीवन जीने का कोई अर्थ नही है क्योकि इसीजी में सीधी लाइन का मतलब ही होता है की हम जिन्दा नही है.

There is no meaning in life if there is no happiness, sadness and ups and downs, because in this life, a straight line only means that we are not alive.

• जो दुसरो की नकल करते है वे थोड़े समय के लिए तो सफलता प्राप्त कर सकते है लेकिन जीवन के कठिनाई के मार्ग पर बहुत आगे तक नही चल सकते है.

Those who imitate others can achieve success for a short time, but cannot go on the path of life's difficulty much further.

• दुनिया में हर कोई मेहनत करता है लेकिन सबके परिणाम उनके अनुसार प्राप्त नही होते है और इसके लिए हमारे मेहनत करने का तरीका ही जिम्मेदार है इसलिए हमे मेहनत करने के तरीके में सुधार करना जरुरी होता है.

Everyone in the world works hard, but not everyone gets results according to them and for this our way of working is responsible, so it is important to improve the way we work.

• वैसे तो लोहे को कोई नष्ट नही कर सकता है लेकिन उसके खुद की लगी जंग उसे नष्ट कर देती है ठीक वैसे ही इन्सान की खुद की मानसिकता और सोच ही इन्सान को नष्ट करने के लिए काफी है.

Well, no one can destroy iron, but his own war destroys him, just as a person's own mindset and thinking is enough to destroy a human being.

• जो लोग आपके ऊपर पत्थर फेकते है आप उन पत्थरों से उनको जवाब नही दे बल्कि उन पत्थरों को इक्कट्ठा करके आप अपने सपनों का इमारत जरूरत बना सकते है.

People who throw stones at you, you do not answer them with those stones, but by collecting those stones, you can make the building of your dreams a necessity.

• यदि आप खुद को प्रोत्साहित करना चाहते है तो आप हमेसा नई चीजे जानने के लिए उत्सुक रहे, प्रश्न पूछे, नये विचारो के बारे में सोचे और जब कोई आपको नई आईडिया आये तो उसपर बेझिझक अमल करे.

If you want to encourage yourself, then you are always eager to know new things, ask questions, think about new ideas and feel free to follow them when someone comes to you.

• अगर मुझे दोबारा जिन्दगी मिलता है तो शायद मै अलग ढंग से ही करना चाहूँगा और यह कभी नही सोच सकता हु की पहले मै क्या था और क्या नही कर पाया.

If I get life again, I would probably like to do it differently and I can never think of what I was before and what I could not do.

• मै हमेसा उन लोगो की प्रशंसा करता हु जो की बहुत ही सफल है लेकिन यदि वही सफलता बेरहमी से प्राप्त किया गया हो तो उस व्यक्ति के सफलता की प्रशंसा तो कर सकता हु लेकिन इज्जत कभी नही कर सकता.

I always praise those who are very successful, but if the same success has been achieved ruthlessly, then I can praise the success of that person but never respect it.

• यदि कई भी कार्य सार्वजनिक कसौटी पर खरा उतरता है तो उस कार्य को जरुर करना चाहिए.

If many of the tasks meet the public criterion, then that work must be done.

• हमे सफल व्यक्तियों से प्रेरणा लेनी चाहिए की अगर वे सफल हो सकते है तो हम क्यू नही सफल हो सकते है ? परन्तु प्रेरणा लेते समय हमे आँखे खुली रखनी चाहिए.

We should take inspiration from successful people that if they can be successful then why can't we be successful?  But while taking inspiration, we should keep eyes open.

• बिज़नेस को अपनी कंपनी के हितो से आगे सोचते हुए लोगो के हितो तक की पहुचने की आवश्यकता है.

The business needs to reach the interests of the people thinking ahead of the interests of their company.

• हमे वही कार्य करना चाहिए जिस काम को करने में हमे मजा आता हो और वही कार्य सफल होते है जो समय पर पूरा कर लिया जाता है.

We should do the same work that we enjoy doing and the same work is successful which is completed on time.

• जिस दिन मै अपने उड़ान भरने में खुद को सक्षम नही पाऊंगा वही दिन मेरी जिन्दगी का सबसे निराशाजनक दिन होंगा.

The day I will not be able to fly myself, the same day will be the most disappointing day of my life.

• हर कोई मेहनत करता है लेकिन सफल कुछ लोग होते है इसलिए आप वैसा ही मेहनत करिए जैसे की सफल लोग करते है.

Everybody works hard but there are some successful people, so you should work as successful people do.

• हर व्यक्ति में कोई न कोई प्रतिभा जरुर होती है तो हमे बस जरूरत इस बात का है की उस प्रतिभा को पहचानकर उस पर काम करने की जरूरत है.

There is definitely some talent in every person, so all we need is that we need to recognize that talent and work on it.

• हो सकता है की मेरे निर्णय से लोग दुखी होते हो लेकिन मै उस व्यक्ति के रूप में जाना जाता हु जिसने हर परिस्थिति में सही काम को सही ढंग से करने के लिए समझौता नही किया.

Maybe people are saddened by my decision but I am known as the person who did not compromise in every situation to do the right thing correctly.

• मै भारत के भविष्य और क्षमता को लेकर कड़ी खुश रहता हु क्युकी हमारा देश महान है हमारे महान देश लोगो में महान क्षमता भी है.

I am very happy about the future and potential of India because our country is great, our great country also has great potential.

• पूर्वजो द्वारा विरासत में मिला इस महान देश की विरासत को समझे और और इसे सहेजने का प्रयास भी करे.

Understand the heritage of this great country inherited by ancestors and also try to save it.

• हम सभी इन्सान है न की कंप्यूटर, जीवन का प्रत्येक क्षण में आनंद ले इसे हमेसा गंभीर मत बनाईये.

We are all humans and not computers, enjoy life at every moment, do not make it serious.

• मैंने अपने कम्पनी के लोगो को इस तरह बना दिया है की वे एक निश्चित छोटे दायरे में सोचने के बजाय विश्व स्तर पर सोचने लगे है.

I have made my company logo in such a way that instead of thinking in a small range, they have started thinking globally.

• जीवन में अच्छी शिक्षा और अच्छा कैरियर ही काफी नही है हमारे जीवन का लक्ष्य (Goal) होना चाहिए ताकि हम एक संतुलित और सफल जीवन जी सके.

Good education and good career is not enough in life, Goal should be the goal of our life so that we can live a balanced and successful life.

• सत्ता और धन मेरे डॉ प्रमुख सिद्धांत नही है.

Power and wealth are not my main principles.
